When you hire any of the South Burnett Enterprise Centre's
facilities we ask you to sign and return a standard Hirer's Agreement
to us.
The terms in our standard hirer's agreement are as follows:

1. Booking Confirmation
-
Once the hirer has provided all information relating to the booking either
in person, by phoning us on (07) 4162-9000 or by
emailing
us, the South Burnett Enterprise Centre staff will provide or forward
a copy of the Hirer's Agreement. Confirmation of booking will only occur
on receipt of the signed Hirer's Agreement.

2. Booking Alterations

All alterations to the booking and agreement information must be agreed to
by South Burnett Enterprise Centre. Any requests for changes must be received
in writing (either via fax or email) by South Burnett Enterprise Centre at
least three (3) days prior to the booking date or as soon as the client is
aware that changes will need to be made.

3. Final Payment
-
Final payment will be invoiced to the hirer after the event and is to be
paid within seven (7) days of issue of the invoice. Cheques should be made
payable to "South Burnett Enterprise Centre" or direct deposit to BSB 084
763, Account No. 679356977. Please quote the invoice number in the Reference
#.

4. Cancellations
-
A booking for which a deposit has been requested but which has not been received
at least 5 working days prior to the date of hire, may be cancelled at the
discretion of the South Burnett Enterprise Centre.
The South Burnett Enterprise Centre has the right not to accept or to cancel
a booking at any time.
The Hirer shall notify the South Burnett Enterprise Centre of cancellations
in writing not less than 10 working days prior to commencement of hire, failing
which the South Burnett Enterprise Centre may impose a cancellation fee of
up to 25% of the total quote price. Less than 5 working days' notice may
incur a charge of the 50% of hire fee. Less than 2 working days' notice,
the full hire fee/s plus any additional expenses incurred may be charged,
at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre's sole discretion.

5. Charges and Deposits
-
The charges payable by the Hirer shall be those set by the South Burnett
Enterprise Centre and be those in force at the time of the Hirer's use of
premises. At the discretion of the South Burnett Enterprise Centre, the Hirer
may be required to pay a deposit of ten per cent (10%) of total quote price.
Deposits will be shown as a credit on the final tax invoice.

6. Indemnity

The Hirer shall indemnify and keep indemnified the South Burnett Enterprise
Centre against all losses, expenses, liabilities, claims and damages incurred
as a result of, or arising out of, the hiring of the premises, whether caused
by any act of omission of the Hirer, its servants agents or invitees, or
any other person whomsoever.

7. Insurance

All users of South Burnett Enterprise Centre venues must be covered by an
appropriate public liability insurance policy. The Hirer must provide evidence
of a current public liability insurance policy for an amount not less than
$5m. Where this is not possible, the South Burnett Enterprise Centre may,
if deemed appropriate, arrange cover under the South Burnett Enterprise Centre's
insurance policy. This policy indemnifies casual Hirers and the South Burnett
Enterprise Centre in respect of claims brought by third parties arising from
the hiring of South Burnett Enterprise Centre facilities.
South Burnett Enterprise Centre takes no responsibility for the condition
of products provided by the Hirer. It is the Hirer's responsibility to ensure
that all materials used in South Burnett Enterprise Centre premises are delivered
to the South Burnett Enterprise Centre venue in good condition.

8. Duty of Care

The Hirer is responsible for the adherence to general occupational health
& safety standards. If beverages are to be consumed the Hirer must ensure
that spillage is immediately cleaned up and take any action required to avoid
possible injury by slipping. Areas that cannot be cleaned immediately should
be cordoned off.

9. Cleaning
-
The Hirer is responsible for leaving the premises clean and tidy at the
conclusion of the period of hire. The South Burnett Enterprise Centre may
carry out, at the expense of the Hirer, such cleaning or other work as may
be required to restore the premises to a satisfactory condition. Excepting
fair wear and tear, the Hirer shall be liable to the South Burnett Enterprise
Centre for any damage to premises or to any fittings, equipment, furniture,
carpets or other property therein, which occurs during the period of hire.
The Hirer must immediately notify the South Burnett Enterprise Centre of
any damage. Under no circumstances are adhesive tapes, blue-tack, glue, tacks,
nails or other methods of affixing materials to be used.

10. Protection of property

The South Burnett Enterprise Centre will take reasonable care to protect
the property of guests, but accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage
to property in the Conference Room prior to, during or after functions. The
South Burnett Enterprise Centre suggests that in planning your function you
may wish to consider whether you require insurance.

11. Conduct of persons attending functions
-
The South Burnett Enterprise Centre reserves the right to expel or reject
any guest or other person at a function who in the opinion of the South Burnett
Enterprise Centre behaves in an objectionable or unreasonable manner.

12. Smoking
-
Smoking is not permitted inside the Conference Room. Guests or other persons
must proceed to the designated smoking areas outside the Conference Room
should they wish to smoke.
